Calling all Prospective Renton Little League Umpires!

Want to get as close to the action as possible? How about helping Renton Little League give our players an awesome experience? We're putting a team of volunteer umpires together and we need you! 

Who are we looking for?  Ideally, we are looking for adults with either playing, coaching or umpiring experience (maybe all three).  That does not exclude High School students looking to get community service hours.

Why are we recruiting?  Renton Little League has been out of standing with Little League International for some time now.  Little League is supposed to operate on an all-volunteer basis and not on a paid work force.

Do you need to be a professional?  Absolutely not!  All you need to have is a dedication to punctuality, effort and commitment to the great game of baseball.

What kind of time commitment would this be?  Of course, we would love to have your services as much as possible but we are more than willing to be flexible.

Will there be training?  Yes, there will be preseason clinics and hopefully an in- person meeting to discuss expectations and tips for the year.
